This pendant features a silver hoop with a gold lion, engraved with the verse “Asher libo kelev ha’aryeh” (2 Samuel 17:10). The lion symbolizes bravery, leadership, courage, deterrence, and strength in Judaism. All Jewish heroes, including Bar Kochba, who fought like lions, did so within their roles and were considered national heroes.
The lion is mentioned in Jacob’s blessing and also represents one of the traits of the righteous. The symbol appears in synagogues above the Ark of the Covenant and is used as the emblem of Jerusalem, representing the month of Av and the Leo zodiac sign.
Additionally, the pendant is engraved with combinations from the 72 Names of God: “Mem Nun Daled” – symbolizing fearlessness, resilience, and overcoming obstacles to achieve goals; and “Mem Bet Hey” – representing strength, power, and protection.
On the other side of the pendant is engraved the verse “The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in, from this time forth and forevermore” (Psalms 121:8).
A powerful pendant that offers guidance for daily actions, encouraging decisions made with discernment, and at the same time, with courage, strength, and fearlessness.
